TR: Jewel of the Seas 2014 Caribbean Cruise Pt. 3 – Embarkation & St. Croix (10/11 & 12/2014)

With boarding complete, the process of waiting to leave seemed to drag on forever. Our bags arrived after a short time and we had to force ourselves into putting things away. The sailaway show promised comedy. Feeling confident in my own personal ability to make jokes about how powerful the toilet flushes and how many times lights flicker in the bathroom, we chose to skip this and do, well, something else. TR: Celebrity Summit Southern Caribbean Cruise Part 8: Sea Day and Fake Sea Day at St. Thomas (11/29 & 11/30/2012)

qsine; better than doing stuff on the ship

Having a really awesome room is, well, really awesome.

TR: Ruby Princess Pt. 4 – Cruise Review Days 3-5 (2/1-2/3/2011)

DAY 3: AT SEA (2/1)

The first at sea day of the cruise brings with it formal night and also a lot of nothing. I can never make up my mind when it comes to whether or not I like more ports or sea days. If you don’t have to be anywhere, you don’t have to do anything either. We sorta saw the Fruit/Vegetable carving. We sat in the room a lot. Come to think of it, we did practically nothing other than eat and or drink. Dinner that night was another unspectacular affair where we didn’t even receive a wine menu when my wife and I sat down. It was only after our table mates joined us that it appeared to the table. Uhh, okay. Entertainment for the night was non-existent given that we didn’t want to see the comedian. And again; secondary theater. Why not the main stage?
